Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter- 5 tablespoons (divided)
  • Boneless chicken & Skinless Chicken breasts – 11/4 (cut into one inch chunks)
  • Kosher salt
  • Pepper
  • Onion – 1 (diced)
  • Carrots – 3 (peeled and diced)
  • Celery ribs – 3 (diced)
  • Garlic cloves – 3 (minced)
  • Poultry seasoning- 1 teaspoon
  • All-purpose flour – 5 tablespoons
  • Dry White Wine – 1/3 cup
  • Chicken stock – 4 cups
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Fresh cut green beans – 1 cup
  • Heavy cream – 1/2 cup
  • Parsley leaves (chopped) – 1/4 cup
  • White Wine Vinegar – 1 1/2 cup

Directions to cook:

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste better. In a large stockpot or a Dutch oven, drop a tablespoon of butter and melt it over a high flame.
  2. Add chicken to the stockpot and cook it for about 2-3 minutes until it turns to golden color. Keep aside the fried chicken in a bowl.
  3. Now, reduce the flame to medium and add the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter to the stockpot. Add diced onions, carrots and celery to the pot. Cook these by stirring occasionally, until they become soft and tender. Mix garlic and poultry seasoning to this and stir it for about a minute until you get the fragrance.
  4. Whisk in flour for a minute till it turns into light brown.
  5. Add wine and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the stockpot.
  6. Add chicken stock and bay leaf to the stockpot and stir it for few seconds to mix all the ingredients properly.
  7. Now, reduce the heat by putting it in simmer to let the ingredients boil for 10-12 minutes until the flavors blend well.
  8. Add green beans, heavy cream and chicken to the stockpot. Stir it well and put it in a low flame so that green beans will become tender and the soup gets thickened. Leave it for about 3-4 mins.
  9. Finally, add parsley and vinegar to the soup and stir it well. Then add salt and pepper to taste.

Soup is ready to serve it hot. Serve the soup with flaky mile-high biscuits as complementary to finish your meal.
